Infringement / Abuse
An essential part of our "spineful hosting" concept at Righthaven.com is maintaining an unfettered dialogue with rightholders of all stripes. Yes, we have sometimes quirky senses of humor, but when it comes to allegations of infringement or abuse we are all business.
In this spirit, Righthaven.com has deployed a dedicated incident resolution team (the "IRT") to respond to abuse and infringement inquiries. The IRT is broken down into departments that can be contacted at the addresses below. Please review the categories below carefully to make sure we route your inquiry to the proper group within the IRT the first time around. No one should have to wait any longer than absolutely necessary because tickets have to be redirected to the subject matter expert team before we can craft a response.
If you are:
Acting on behalf of a rightholder (i.e. you are either the owner of a trademark or copyrighted work or the authorized representative or legal counsel for the owner) and you believe that a Righthaven.com user has posted material that infringes on that trademark or copyright, you should contact the infringement group within our IRT by emailing:
We are committed to the quickest response possible and, while promises in this area are impossible, we generally expect to have a human actually looking at incident reports within 1-3 hours.
Reporting what you believe is abuse from a Righthaven.com user (that is attempts at unauthorized access, hacking, malicious scans, fraud, denial of service, other attacks or other network or related issues), you should contact the network security group within our IRT by emailing:
We take network security and fraud very seriously at Righthaven.com. Depending on the severity of the issue and the duty schedule in the network operations center our response can range from instant to a few hours, subject to all the usual caveats. Please note that the above address should be used only for emergency or urgent inquiries. Non-urgent network issues may be directed to our network operations center at:
Acting on behalf of a regulatory agency, law enforcement agency or other governmental entity, please direct your inquiries to:
